Today, Hugo Quezada Martinez is recognized as one of the best graphic designers and is considered by many colleagues to be the best advertising designer in Chile. He stands out for the excellence of his editorial productions and corporate images, but of course, Hugo Quezada began as a natural designer and gradually became captivated by advertising, mainly due to the benefits he began to see his work brought to his clients. That, in reality, is the best way to enter and thrive in this profession. Hugo's refined knowledge of design and production strengthened Luis Medina's art direction, just as Hugo, working with Medina, expanded into art direction and then creative direction. Thus, to this day, they both learn from each other, developing and executing many of their creations themselves. Hugo Quezada's professional journey, like many, began to take shape in childhood; from an early age, his abilities marked him as "the artist of the family." He first explored architecture and design at the Catholic University of Valparaíso and then pursued a degree in Professional Design at ARCIS University. Since then, he has never stopped exploring graphic arts, painting, and multimedia tools. Hugo distinguished himself for six years as the leader of the Retail production team at DDB Chile, an agency where Luis Medina was a partner and General Creative Director. Hugo would later join him in his independence from BBDO and DDB to form the independent agency EQUIS. There, they both excelled for nine years, shaping one of the three most creative agencies in the Chilean market. Hugo Quezada served as General Art Director. When EQUIS closed, Hugo became General Art Director at Virtual Publicidad for four years before deciding to form his own agency, "Conejo Blanco" (White Rabbit). After six years, and always in contact with Luis Medina, Luis invited him to join ProChiloe. Today, they work together again, further strengthening the chemistry that has been recognized with important National and International Graphic Design Awards and has earned the trust of leading brands in the market. Hugo Quezada's expertise and signature style are present in all of ProChiloe's consulting work.
