After studying architecture, Karen decided to reinvent herself, drawing on her most cherished experiences. She revisited her childhood, where, on a vast island, she saw herself as a young girl constantly collecting in forests, along the seashore, and riverbanks: stones, shells, leaves... a surprising and exposed nature that would later be captured in her watercolors and her now-renowned jewelry pieces, captivating the world. The moment arrived when, after breaking down barriers with her work under the ARKENARIO brand, Karen decided to promote the work and art of her fellow Chiloé natives, advising them on their path to greater recognition and facing the new challenges that come with growth. All of this is done while considering a historical framework, heritage, and valuing each piece as a clear testament to the person who creates it. Creativity is always at play, even in the most traditional and endemic pieces. The idea is to never cease to be a relevant and contemporary expression. Karen Pinochet has just taken over as General Manager of the "Made in Chiloé" Designation of Origin at ProChiloe , and her valuable experience in brand development with limited resources is a tremendous asset to our team and entrepreneurial clients.
